n8n Workflow Development

Self-Hosted. Your Data. Your Rules.

When compliance says "no cloud" or your workflow needs raw code at every step — n8n gives you full control. We build, deploy, and maintain your self-hosted automation infrastructure.

Workflows That Can't Run Anywhere Else

n8n unlocks capabilities SaaS automation tools simply don't offer — custom code, self-hosting, and deep AI integration out of the box.

Self-Hosted Deployments

Docker or Kubernetes. Your VPC, your encryption keys, your audit trail. Zero data leaves your perimeter.

Custom Code Nodes

When no-code hits its ceiling, we write TypeScript/Python nodes that do exactly what you need. No compromises.

Database Orchestration

Complex queries, multi-step transforms, conditional writes. Your data pipeline, running on your terms.

Webhook Architectures

Real-time event processing with retry logic, queue management, and dead-letter handling. Production-grade.

AI/LLM Pipelines

Chain Claude, GPT, or local models with your data. RAG workflows, document processing, intelligent routing.

Migration from Zapier/Make

We reverse-engineer your existing automations and rebuild them in n8n. Same logic, full ownership.

Why We Build on n8n

When compliance, control, or cost dictates the tool — not convenience.

01

$0 Per Operation

$0 per operation. Forever. The only cost is your server — which you already have.

02

Full Audit Trail

Open source means full audit trail. Your security team can read every line that touches your data.

03

Custom Code Everywhere

Python, JavaScript, shell scripts — whatever the job requires. At every node.

04

AI-Native

Built-in LLM nodes, vector store support, and agent architectures from day one.

Compare to Make.com's $0.001–0.016/op. A team running 5M ops/month pays $5K–$80K/year in SaaS fees vs. ~$600/year on a self-hosted VPS
n8n — Full source code access, self-hostable on any VPS
n8n — Custom JavaScript nodes, no platform limits
n8n — LangChain AI agents native, no proxy layer needed
Tradeoff — Requires DevOps setup and maintenance
Tradeoff — No managed cloud unless using n8n Cloud plan

Blank Server to Production in 2 Weeks

Four phases from first conversation to a running, monitored n8n instance — no surprises, no scope creep.

Built until it works. Unlimited revisions during the build phase. Post-launch monitoring included. If it doesn't perform as scoped, we fix it — no additional cost.

Common Questions

Make.com is a fully managed SaaS platform — fast to start, limited to its visual interface, and billed per operation. n8n is open-source and self-hosted: you run it on your own server, pay flat infrastructure cost, write custom JavaScript when needed, and no data ever leaves your environment. Make.com is better for most B2B teams. n8n is right when you need code-level control, data compliance, AI agents, or volumes that make SaaS fees impractical. We wrote a detailed comparison.
A standard VPS on Hetzner or DigitalOcean runs $5–$20/month for most workloads. Heavier workflows with large data volumes might need a $40–$80/month server. That's it — no per-operation fees, no seat licenses, no usage limits. The entire annual infrastructure cost is often less than one month of Make.com fees at high volume.
Yes — this is one of n8n's strongest differentiators. n8n ships native LangChain nodes for multi-step AI agents with persistent memory, tool calling (web search, code execution, database queries), and conditional branching — all without writing Python or maintaining a separate application server. You can chain Claude, GPT-4, or any open-source model into complex decision workflows entirely within the n8n canvas.
Not for standard deployments. We configure automatic backups, Docker restart policies, and health monitoring so the server largely runs itself. Most teams manage fine with basic Linux familiarity. For enterprise deployments or multi-instance setups, we offer an ongoing retainer for proactive maintenance — but the vast majority of clients run independently after handoff.
We'll tell you in the audit. If your use case doesn't require self-hosting, custom code, or high-volume operations, Make.com is almost always the faster and cheaper path. We're platform-agnostic — we recommend the right tool, not the tool we prefer. You won't get upsold into n8n if Make.com does the job.
